It started in the gorgeous town of Westport, Co Mayo – a place of community and belonging. Westportia is the connection between people and communities explored through storytelling.

Sree Sen is a marketing and digital strategy professional with over 15 years of experience working across media, culture, and community engagement in Ireland and India. Her career began in journalism, where she developed a strong foundation in storytelling and audience insight, before transitioning into digital marketing and large-scale event promotion.
Based in Dublin, Ireland, currently working in the heritage and cultural sector, Sree has managed and marketed 1,000+ public events in collaboration with libraries, festivals, historians, and community organisations. She is passionate about empowering small businesses and cultural groups with practical technology solutions and contributing to Ireland’s growing innovation and digital economy.

Sree recently completed Ideas Academy 2025-2026, delivered by Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, selected among 130 applicants.
Sree received Feasibility Grant 2026 from DLR-Rathdown County Council LEO to develop MyEventShop marketing platform.
As a creative practitioner, her achievements include:
- Won the UCD Maeve Binchy Travel Award 2020, Agility Award 2021 and 2024 by the Arts Council of Ireland
- In September 2022, her debut poetry collection Cracked Asphalt was published
